Tether Tennis Remember Zimm Zamm from the 1970s - 1980s. It was a favorite game of my family when I was a child. This game is not made by Mattel like the original, but plays the same way. Extra replacement balls. This is a tennis ball on a string designed for tether tennis sets, and can be used with many different brands, including the original Zimm Zamm. It is a heavy duty ball and will last much longer than the ball included from the manufacturer. Ball Swivel The original Zimm Zamm sets had a swivel built into the ball that kept the string from twisting as the ball was spun. This prevented the string from knotting up as the game was played. The sportcraft version of the game uses a swivel at the end of string where it connects to the pole. If you are purchasing these balls to use with an original Zimm Zamm game you will want to purchase a swivel. You may also need to replace the one which came with your set if it is lost or damaged. I have looked for swivels in my local hardware stores that would work with this game. However, I have not been able to find the correct size. They are either to large and heavy, preventing the ball from turning on the pole correctly, or they are to small. These swivels are supplied from sportcraft and are the correct size and weight for the sets. Price per ball swivel is $4.00. Postage included. (Continental US only)
Replacement Paddles. These replacement paddles are made from heavy duty plastic and are almost indestructible. They can be used with the original Zimm Zamm game or with any other Tether Tennis set.
